Medicare Part D Submission Requirements

Medicare Part D Coordination of Benefits requires a new BIN and Processor Control Number (PCN) combination to be submitted on claims that are supplemental coverage. This is critical for correct True Out of Pocket (TROOP) calculations for Medicare Part D members.

To ensure that Medicare Part D claims are processed correctly please use the following:

• Bin: 012312
• Processor Control Number: PARTD

Medicare Part D requires pharmacies to conspicuously post (or distribute) the "Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage and Your Rights" notice (CMS-10147). This notice must either be posted conspicuously at the pharmacy or distributed to any beneficiary who disagrees with information provided by a pharmacist.
